Mental Health Awareness Creative Arts Contest Winners

Tuesday, August 1 – Thursday, August 3, 7:30 am – 5 pm
Exhibit Hall
HHSC invited children, youth, and adults to participate in its annual creative arts contest to promote mental health awareness by illustrating their own experience through poetry, art, or video. Come by the Exhibit Hall to see this year’s winners.
The theme for the 2017 Adult Creative Arts Contest was “The Reality: When the Best Meets the Worst”.
The theme for the 2017 Children’s Creative Arts Contest was “Why Mental Health Matters To Me.”



A concessions stand will open Monday, July 31 – Thursday, August 3 to purchase snacks, lunch, and refreshments starting at 8am. The concessions stand will be located in the Rotundra on Monday, July 31. The concession stand will be located in the Exhibit Hall Tuesday, August 1 – Thursday, August 3.
