The Health and Human Services Commission as an approved Continuing Education Provider through The Texas Certification Board will be providing LCDC CEU’s. CEU’s provided are up to 18.5 LCDC hours and 17.5 hour(s) in professional ethics. These learning experiences enhance the knowledge of the participant in establishing or maintaining professional competence in their respective field. All content is relevant to the development and maintenance of current competency in the field of substance use, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders, prevention and recovery as defined in STANDARD 8.

Certified Family Partners; Certified Peer Specialists (MHPS, RSPS); Certified Peer Specialist Supervisors

HHSC through its CEU Provider number (0090-87E) will be providing up to 18.5 CEUs for CPS/CFP and C.Peer Sup. The education provided will relate to the practice of peer support and the enhancement of peer services and that the individual(s) presenting the information have the necessary experience and knowledge in the topic(s) presented. Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Family Partners may receive up to 18.5 continuing educational credits and up to 17.5 credits in Ethics. CEU credit must be relevant to the skills required of, or services provided by Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Family Partners. In order for a Peer Specialist Supervisor to receive CEU credit, training must be related to peer specialist supervision and leadership.
